I usually try to do a newsletter with our CHRISTmas card. Here's the one for this year. I was just VERY glad to get my OWN cards out this year. I didn't get any out last year . . . November Thankfulness!

November is here and I am sooo THANKFUL for soooo many people and things!!! If you know me and know my heart, my first LOVE is my FAMILY (like most everyone else)!!! I am sooo blessed to have a wonderful husband and two little girls. I have an angel, my son Riley, watching over us from heaven and ANOTHER little GIRL on her way!! Yep, you read that right, we are having ANOTHER little GIRL, due the end of March 2012. We are super excited and super blessed!!! She is growing and doing sooo GREAT!!! I am faced with another trial in my life though . . . I MUST take it REALLY easy for now or I will be on bed rest. I am sooo THANKFUL that I have been saying NO to photography sessions ever since I learned I was pregnant. At first, it was just a MUCH NEEDED BREAK, but now it's a life or death (possibly) situation. I am sooo THANKFUL for ALL of you out there who love me and my work, but for right now I must REST!! Here's the photo I announced that I was having another baby on facebook with. YES, Oaklee is WAAAAY excited!!! :-)

Oaklee took this photo to announce that we are having another GIRL . . . PINK!!! I was sooo hoping for a little boy, but it's okay. Riley is our little boy in heaven and we are sooo blessed to be getting a little girl that HE is taking care of!! :-)LOVE these two little girls of mine!! They are sooo important!!! They don't have to be professional and you don't have to be dressed up!! Or at least that's what I think :-)!! LEARN the camera that you have and use it and start taking family photoz!!! You won't regret it!! You don't need a "fancy" camera. You just need your family and a self-timer!! And if you don't have one of these, then yes, hire someone, but take photoz!! And MOMS GET IN THE PHOTOZ WITH YOUR KIDS!!! Your kids will LOVE you for it!!!! :-)This is a photo of MY side of the family. LOVE them and thankz to Keylee Kugler for taking it!!

Miss MaLayni Jane . . . oh how I love her and she keeps me entertained!!

Here's my little miracle girl. This is Oaklee Rayn, but we call her Mitzi. This is after her second surgery. Her first surgery was to remove a cancerous tumor when she was only 22 days old. This is her in July after having bladder surgery. I am sooo THANKFUL for this little girl and the power of prayer. She is doing AWESOME and I couldn't be more blessed!! :-)

And she's a DORK like me!!!! :-)

Yep, I am sooo blessed to have these two goof balls in my life!! I LOVE them more than I can ever say and am SOOO THANKFUL for them!! :-)

Miss MaLayni Jane or Dennis or Baby Jane. LOVE this little girl!!! Yep, she eats dirt, has a silly personality, and NOTHING is ever boring with her around!! :-)

I am also THANKFUL for cute little friends and for this time of year!!

Another thing I am THANKFUL for is scrapbooking!!! I'm a HUUUUGE scrapbooker. That's the main reason I take photoz and got into photography!! With my break, I was able to get ALL of my Project 365 pages done for the year 2010. I am sooo happy about that and here's the summary pages for each month . . .

This is Matt's goofy horse. He would do this A LOT for the camera!! I'm sooo glad I have this photo of him. Matt had to put him down because of Ring Bone. We will miss him, but sooo THANKFUL for photoz!!!

There ya go . . . a little bit of MY life and what I've been up to. I am truly THANKFUL for all that I have!! I LOVE my life, my family, and my trials. Yep, I've had quite a few, but who doesn't. I believe it's all in your attitude and it's taken me a LOOONG time to realize that!!! I always think, it could be sooo much worse!! I've got sooo many things going right with my life to be negative and stressed!! Happy Thanksgiving everyone and may the Lord continue to bless you and yours!! :-)

I just LOVE this gal!!! She's a great friend of mine and I just LOOOVE taking photoz of her!!! I started my business 2 1/2 years ago taking photoz of her ALL THE TIME!!! She's been waiting for this moment to have her Senior photoz taken and so have I :-)!! We had a GREAT time together taking these photoz and I still can't believe she's a SENIOR!! :-)

What I've Been Up To . . .

Hey everyone!!! I thought I'd post a few photoz to let you all know I REALLY AM STILL ALIVE!!! I am just enjoying my BREAK from my business and having FUN with my family!! This first photo was taken by my AWESOME friend, Natalie Park. We traveled to St. George to have these done. I wanted something different and LOVE how they turned out!! :-)I have had a TON more time to spend with my family, especially with my Cowboy helping with the cows. This stupid cow, that's not even ours, got her head stuck in this barrel and Matt helped her get free! Too funny!! I was just sooo GLAD she didn't run into our truck!!

I took this random photo of my girls out one day checking the water to our cows. I LOVE it and LOVE them!! I LOVE it even more because it's just THEM!! NO fancy clothes, no fancy hair dos, just THEM!! :-)

This is Miss Oaklee. She helped me out on a photo shoot that I did in August and I HAD to snap a photo of her!! I still can't believe how OLD she is getting!!

My cousin came to visit with his fiance and new baby, so of course I snapped a photo of them for my scrapbook and for my Grandma's wall.

Ryan Kay asked me to take photoz at the Demolition Derby this year and I told him NO because I am on a break and just really didn't want the HUGE responsibility, but I snapped a few photoz of cars that I knew the driver . . . here's Tyson Ashworth. I took his wedding photoz, so I thought I'd take him being a Demolition car driver!!

And of course, I HAD to get some of Ryan!! :-)

Here's my good friend, Merity Blackett. I took her family photoz just TWO weeks before she passed away from having a seizure in her sleep. Such a SAD thing for her family!! My family is VERY close to Donna, so this photo means the world to me. I was actually "just getting my light" when I snapped this so it's NOT posed or anything, but it's one of the last photoz of Mer . . . Such a PRICELESS photo!! Miss Mer will be missed!!! I'm soo happy that Scott put his arms around his mom and sisters. He did NOOT want to do it, but he did, and they are sooo happy that he did!! Photoz are sooo precious and you just NEVER know when someone in those photoz will be taken from you . . .

Taylor at the ATV Rodeo . . . have I ever mentioned that I LOOOOOVE the Juab County Fair?? Well, I DO!!! :-)

And then it was the Ranch Rodeo. Oh how I LOVE the Ranch Rodeo and couldn't help myself . . . I took a lot of photoz at the rodeo!!

I LOVE to take actions shots and rodeo photoz are my FAVORITE!!! This is my nephew, Tate, running the poles. He's sooo AWESOME!! I just wish I was takin' photoz of my girls, but not sure that will EVER happen, so I take photoz of my nephews and my niece!!

This is Lady, we lost her in August. We also lost our other dog in February, so we're not doing too good with dogs around our house. We've had her for 11 years, so I guess it was time for her to go. We just were NOT ready for it! I'm just sooo happy I take photoz of our "other" family members!!

There ya go, what I've been up to!! I'm still taking a BREAK and NOT scheduling photo sessions right now!! I am having too much fun scrapbooking, spending time with my family, and just being on a BREAK!! Thanks for your continued support!! :-)

A Promise . . .

Because I made a PROMISE to my precious little girl . . . This is my precious little girl. She just had surgery one week ago! She's doing FABULOUS and if you know her medical history, well, you'll know this is surgery number TWO for her (and yes she's only SEVEN years old!)!! She's one of the BRAVEST and STRONGEST little girls I know when it comes to medical stuff!!

What can I say about this gal? I just LOVE her and she is my VERY favorite person to take photoz of, well, besides my two girls that is :-)!!! I started out on my photography venture taking photoz of her and here I am two years later STILL taking photoz of this GORGEOUS gal. I LOVE that she LOVES my work!! :-)

I had THEEEE BEST time with this GORGEOUS couple!!! I know I say that all the time, but I REALLY do LOVE getting to know the people that I "shoot" with my camera :-)!! I had a BLAST with Crissa, her Mom, and my friend Ashlee taking these bridal photoz!! We set out for Spanish Fork Canyon and only got in about 10 minutes of photoz and then it was a DOWN POUR of RAIN . . . it did NOT let up, so my perfect location was ruined, but thank goodness Ashlee knew another spot back in town. And thank goodness the rain STOPPED for awhile for us to get some photoz taken. Here's your scrapbook page . . . I have never laughed so hard and had so much fun on a Senior session!!! This guy is such a hoot and so is his family!!! I LOVED capturing Tate's personality for his photoz!!! 11 Things and One Little Word . . .

Well, here goes NOTHING . . . this post is going to be VERY, VERY personal . . . just warning you now ;-)!! I was told by an AWESOME photographer friend about a VERY talented lady http://aliedwards.com/ and totally fell in LOVE with her approach to life, scrapbooking, and photography. So I am starting on a NEW journey with this NEW year, 2011. I LOVE this photo that I had my little Oaklee take of me. This is usually how you see me . . . rushing out the door with my camera hanging down and my pants tucked in my boots because I don't have time to bend over and get them fixed . . . 11 Things My Life Does NOT Need In 2011:

1. Rushing Around: For the past two and a half years of my life I have been Rushing Around and NOT taking any time to stop and smell the roses or enjoy my girls and family! I'm always in a hurry everywhere I go lately because I've been up too late editing photoz and am just plain TIRED!!

2. Being Ornery To My Precious Girls and Cowboy: Man, this one has got to CHANGE!! I am usually sooo nice to everyone, but when I get home the devil horns come out and I am ornery!! This is something I will work REALLY hard on!! I know some of you won't believe me, but ask my husband, Oaklee, or my Mom and they will all tell you that I've been pretty ornery the last few months or should I say years!!??

3. Piles and Clutter: Oh how I HATE piles and clutter and they have totally taken over my home!! I have NOT had time to do anything, but go out and take photoz and then spend MANY, MANY long hours editing those photoz! So the clothes are piled up around my house, clean and dirty. The dishes NEVER get done and things are just cluttered because I've spent way too many hours on photoz!

4. NO time for ME!! 'Nuff said on that one!

5. Over-Extending Myself: I must learn the word NO this year!! I just took on WAY TOO many photo sessions last year and it has about done me in. I am sooo thankful for ALL the business that I have had, but I MUST learn the word NO this year! I will NOT be taking on as many photo shoots this year.

6. Self-Doubt: I have spent a small fortune on photography classes, mentoring sessions, new equipment, a new computer, new photo software, etc. etc. trying to be a BETTER photographer and a photographer that I am NOT!! This year I am going to focus more on having FUN and getting my passion back with taking photoz and NOT being so technical with my camera as I have gotten to be and because of that I have lost my passion!! :-)

7. Stress and Worry: Oh how life is just HARD and I worry about EVERY little thing!! This year I want to worry less and try to be a little less stressed out!

8. DRAMA!! I am sooo sick of drama in the photography world!! I LOOOVE taking photoz, but there is so much going on right now that it's just NOT worth it!

9. Stinky Dishes and Clothes NOT Folded: Okay so this one is sooooo needing to change. I edit way too many photoz and I know that and spend way too much time on each photo session. I am spending over 20 hours PER photo session . . . I did 64 photo sessions last year. You figure out the math about how many hours I spent editing photoz last year!! That's NOT counting all the "other" photo sessions I did on the side and 6 weddings. I did NOT make very much money per hour last year!! I'm tired of being talked about and being called the "slow photographer"! This is why I have sooo many things in my life that need to be CHANGED!! It's going back to I don't need DRAMA!!

10. Credit Card Debt: Going back to #6 . . . I have spent a small fortune on new equipment and educating myself to be the BEST that I can and now have some credit card debt. So that is needing to CHANGE!

11. Yelling at My Girls: This is sooo going to CHANGE!! My girls are my life and they are way too precious to deserve to be yelled at by their over tired photographer Mom!!

So there you have it . . . 11 things my life does NOT need in 2011. I keep saying the word CHANGE a lot because I am taking a class from Ali Edwards called One Little Word. You are supposed to choose a word for the year. I chose CHANGE because so many things need to change with me personally, spiritually, financially, and in my business! With all this said, what does it mean?? It means that I am taking a MUCH NEEDED BREAK from taking photoz right now!! This is one of my most favorite photoz of ME and I want to just have FUN and be ME again . . . and I've been sooo stressed out that I haven't been ME for a very LONG time!! :-) This is my family's photo that was taken in May. This is the day I buried my Son, Riley. My heart is still hurting and I need to take some time to grieve for my Son. I jumped back into photography way too soon after I lost him . . . This is me with my girls. I LOVE this photo and it's one of the fun things I did with them last year. I didn't hardly do anything with them because I was sitting in front of my computer! I want to do more FUN things with them! Even if it's just sitting on the floor with them playing a game!! This is my MaLayni Jane. She's now 2 1/2 years old and I am so missing out on her life and she's growing up way too fast while I am editing 300 photoz for everyone . . . This is my Oaklee Rayn. She's now 6 1/2 years old and MISSES her Mom and thinks that I HATE her because I am always at the computer or taking photoz . . . I want that to NEVER enter her mind AGAIN that she thinks I hate her. The night she told me that it broke my heart . . . so this year I am spending more time with Oaklee and MaLayni!! And then there's this guy . . . my Cowboy and the love of my life. He's my biggest supporter yet the one that has suffered the MOST from my business!! Thank goodness he will eat frozen pizzas, deal with my being gone taking photoz, deal with my sitting at the computer until 3 AM most nights, and having a VERY messy house. I LOVE him and I need to spend more time with HIM!! :-) Here's MaLayni at the farm. I haven't done a lot this year to help Matt with our cattle because once again, I've been too busy editing photoz . . . are you seeing a pattern here?? And then we had Christmas Time. The happiest time of the year . . . I was NOT happy this year!! I was editing like a mad woman trying to get everyone's photoz DONE and to them BEFORE Christmas that I barely got my tree up. Now I know I only have myself to blame for that by editing so many photoz, but I have a HARD time NOT giving out ALL the photoz that I take, so I will work on CHANGING that so I can save my sanity this year!! :-) In closing . . . this is my Great-Aunt, who we lost in her house fire. As I sat there with my Grandma that day listening to her talk about Jeanne my mind kept going back to how busy I have been and that I just wanted to freeze time and take away her pain from just loosing her Sister. Life is just WAY TOO SHORT!!! I wanted to freeze time and go back in time to all the days that I spent missing out on my little girls' lives and letting them sit in front of the TV for HOURS upon HOURS so I could edit photoz!! I need to spend more time with my family . . . I do LOOOOVE taking photoz for ALL of you, but I LOOOOVE my family MORE!! I don't go spend time with Riley at the cemetary like I want to. Man I miss that little guy and need some time to reflect and heal from loosing my Son. I warned you all this was personal and sorry for the long post, but this has been in me for so long that I MUST get it out!! I'm NOT done with my business although some days I want to be!! I have a GREAT thing going and I am sooo grateful for that, but I MUST CHANGE things up A LOT so I am not sooo crazy/busy that I can't even enjoy a night with my family!! I do NOT know when the last time I just sat on the couch and did NOTHING was!! I know there are a lot of photographers out there wishing they could be as busy as me and are probably thinking that I'm nuts for saying all of this and for taking a break, but it's what I MUST do!! I know some of you will NOT want to wait for me and some of you will NOT understand my choice to PUT MY FAMILY FIRST and that's okay!! I'm totally okay with loosing business this year if that's what it takes for ME to be ME again and enjoy my life and my business taking photoz again. I want to spend more time scrapbooking which is another TRUE passion of mine that I just haven't had time to scrapbook for myself!!

CHANGES are in the works for some NEW/FUN things for Raynz Photoz! Stay tuned ;-)

I wish you all a VERY HAPPY NEW year and I will be back . . . I'm just NOT sure when! And like I said I won't be taking on as many photo sessions as I did last year or even the previous year! THANK YOU for listening and for understanding. I know I am putting myself out there and that's okay with me, too. I just need to do this for ME so I can CHANGE and be a better person, mother, wife, daughter, friend, cousin, aunt, and PHOTOGRAPHER!!

If any of you REALLY know me and KNOW me from High School then you will know that Katie Thalman and I were THEEE best of friends and pretty much glued at the hip!! Well, I got the chance to take a few photoz of her cute little guy, J.w. at Wes and Jerika's wedding a few months ago. Oh how stinkin' cute he is and I enjoyed taking photoz of him for my best friend, Katie . . . here's a scrapbook page I made for her! :-)

Katie and me . . . Katie says we still look as good now as we did then LOL :-)!!! I know I'm thinking I look BETTER now than I did then!! :-) I LOVE this friend of mine and I'm sooo happy that she's back in my life. We lost touch for awhile, but nothing has changed! We still LOVE to be around each other and I just wish we lived closer!!

Thankz to Katie's brother, Jake, my brother that I never had as I referred to him when I was younger, for taking this photo!! He had sooo much fun with my camera in his hands!! DRUM ROLL . . . . .. the winner is ASHLEY JOHNSON!!! She was the closest guess to my question!!! Although I had to have a TIE BREAKER question!! My question was how many photo shoots did I do this year (2010) and how many weddings did I do? I took photoz at SIX weddings and did 64 photo shoots this year!!! To me that is a TON and I'm sooooo sooooo soooooo VERY THANKFUL to all of you out there for letting ME capture your family memories through my style of PHOTOZ!!! I LOVE what I do and I LOVE each one of YOU out there!! I love my fans and I love my clients!!! Words cannot express how happy you all make me when I get a call saying that you want ME to take your family photoz!! 64 shoots for me, like I said, is a TON!!! Happy Thanksgiving!! I LOVE this day because I always reflect on the things and people I am MOST thankful for!! My family of course is what I am MOST thankful for, but as I was sitting here reflecting on my business this past year I am OVERWHELMED with emotions and sooooo THANKFUL to all of YOU for letting me do what I LOOOOVE to do . . . take your photoz!! I am sooo thankful for my loving family and friends who have stuck by my side, giving me encouragement and hope that I can DO THIS CRAZY business!!! Crazy because photography is sooo much more than just taking a photo . . . to me it's putting MY signature on these photoz for everyone!! And MY signature takes me a TON of time!!! I know I'm nutz for taking sooo much time on my photoz, but it's just who I am and what I LOVE to do, but it's also taken a toll on me . . .

I do LOVE capturing your memories that you and I are proud to hang on your walls and put in your scrapbook. I LOOOVE what I do so much that I want to GIVE BACK to someone out there! So I'm going to do a contest!!

I had THEEE BEST time getting to know this AWESOME couple taking their engagement photoz and then taking Amanda's bridal photoz . . . BUT what a GREAT day and TIME I had capturing the TRUE LOVE between this couple on their wedding day!! Yep they have been VERY patiently waiting for their wedding photoz. I believe in taking LOTZ of photoz and that's NOTHING against any other photographers, but it's just MY style to take a TON of photoz at weddings and it takes me a lot of time to perfect them to MY liking . . . so yep I'm slow at editing, but I feel that it's totally worth the wait for ALL the photoz that I take at a wedding! These photoz are memories captured that I wish I had at my OWN wedding 12 years ago!! I LOVE this couple and wish them all the happiness in the world!! The Trackhoe Bride

Oh man did we have FUUUN with Amanda's bridal photoz!!! First, we took some photoz on a trackhoe (thankz to Troy for letting us use his!!) Then we went up north to take some more photoz. The first trackhoe that I found wasn't BIG enough so we had to redo the shoot!!

I LOVE how all her photoz turned out and thankz again for a GREAT two days of shooting!! :-)

Oh man did we get her dress DIRTY in this photo, but it's one of my favorites!! :-)

Amanda's Groom-To-Be, Tyson operates a trackhoe so this idea was totally hers to surprise him on their wedding day!! Juab County Relay for Life 2010 Photoz

I was sooo excited when I was asked by Analee Sessions to be a sponsor for this year's Relay for Life. I got to take photoz all night long . . . something I LOOOOVE to do!! I was soooo excited and moved to tears when I seen the shirts with MY name on them. What an honor to be a part of such a GREAT event to help raise money to find a cure for cancer!

My favorite Cancer SURVIVOR!! Yes my little six year old Oaklee had cancer. Some know this, some may not. For all of you who don't know, my little Oaklee was BORN with cancer. She had a tumor on her left adrenal gland . . . a neuroblastoma tumor. She had surgery when she was only 22 days old to remove the tumor that was the size of an egg. I am grateful to Primary Children's Medical Center and their staff of experts for finding her tumor and for removing it. I am sooo blessed to STILL have this little miracle I call Mitzi, my little Cancer SURVIVOR!! She's so precious to me and I thank the Lord every day that she is CANCER-FREE!! :-)

A Few 2010 Fair Photoz!

The Juab County Fair has came and gone and I'm just NOW posting photoz that I took!! I soooo LOOOOVE the fair!!! It's my most favorite time of summer!!! If you truly know my heart, you will know that in this first photo, I am having the TIME OF MY LIFE!!! I LOVED showing pigs when I was little and I'm sooo happy that they have an adult showmanship now . . . don't you just LOVE my pink pig cane? I do!! :-)

I got the opportunity to take the steer photoz this year. My friend, Amanda Livingston, usually does them, but she was out of town so Jeff called me to do them and boy was it FUN!!!

HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Well here goes NOTHING :-)!!! I put on my facebook page that I was going to make a HUGE annoucement and well here it is . . . I have hired an assistant, Amanda Livingston, to help me out with editing photoz to get me caught up!! I am behind on editing EIGHT photo shoots, the steer photoz from the fair, Relay for Life photoz and one wedding . . . so I'm soooo super SWAMPED with editing photoz that it's soooo NOT funny!!!!! I strive for PROFESSIONAL quality photoz that you can hang on your wall, but I also LOOOOVE to take random/funny photoz that you can have as memories. So with that said, I give you ALL the photoz that I take!!! Most sessions end up with over 400 photoz . . . and I KNOW that you won't print them all, but after A LOOOOOT of thought and prayers, it's just who I am and I can't change NOT giving them ALL to everyone!!! It's totally the scrapbooker in me, but also doing that I put in A LOOOOT of hours editing ALL your photoz so that's why I'm behind!! Things are going to CHANGE and I won't edit ALL of them, but you will still get ALL of them. I will be changing my prices and charging MORE for ALL the photoz starting next year. I'm excited to work with Amanda and get CAUGHT up!!! She's a GREAT friend of mine and a fellow photographer!! I had to put up this photo of MY family taken by Amberlee Harder, who is also a GREAT friend of mine and an AWESOME photographer!!!! Thankz for this photo Amberlee!!! :-)

I will be doing things a lot differently NEXT year with my business!!! I am sooooo VERY THANKFUL to ALL of you out there for your love and support of my photography business! I've said it a million times and here it is again, NEVER in my wildest dreams did I think my photoz would be this popular and my talent would be in such demand. I LOOOOOVE it!!! It's what I LOVE to do, BUUUUUT it's also taken soooo much time away from my precious family!!!

People ask me how I do it and really . . . I don't!!! My house is a PIG pen . . . I LOOOOVE pigs, but am tired of living like one!!! I have mounds of laundry that doesn't get done or folded (who doesn't right, but REALLY we live out of a clothes basket)!! Bills don't get paid on time because I don't take the time to pay them!! My toliets are growing and I won't even begin to talk about my tile floors!! I'm just way too super busy . . . I spend ALL my time at my computer!! I know it's crazy and I've done it to myself, but I can't deal with this anymore . . .

This is my little Oaklee CRYING because I have just YELLED at her and told her JUST A MINNNNUTE!!! And here is my little MaLayni YELLING at me because I have just YELLED at her for pulling on my computer chair for the millionth time today . . . these two little girls NEED their MOM!!! :-) A mom that is NOT so ornery with them!!

I SOOOO LOOOOOOOVE what I do, but I can't say NO to my family anymore . . . I need to say NO for the rest of the year . . . I'm soooo DONE taking photoz for the year 2010 . . . I'm sorry if you wanted an appointment, but with four weddings and 25 photo sessions on my calendar from now until the middle of November, I just CANNOT take on ONE more session!!! I have to take a break and slow down . . . I miss this little guy all the time, too!! :-(

As most of you know, maybe some of you don't, but I delivered my baby boy, Riley, who was stillborn in May and I still have really ROUGH days and just think I need some time to deal with my emotions and my little Oaklee's problems because of Riley leaving us too soon!! And then here's my GORGEOUS Mom . . . I'm FINALLY going to listen to HER and NOT take on soooo many photo shoots next year and NOT edit soooo many photoz!!!

THANK YOU MOM!!!! I LOVE you and you're the best for believing in me and understanding my TRUE passion for taking photoz!! :-) And then there's this guy that I call my "Cowboy" . . . he needs his wife back . . .

While he's out checking water and our cows or playing with our girls, I am sitting at the computer!! I'm missing out on sooo much with my OWN family!!! I LOOOOOVE all of you and LOOOOVE capturing your memories with my camera and giving you ALL those photoz, but I have to say I LOOOOOVE my family MORE!!!! So what does all this rambling mean . . . well it means that I've had it basically . . . I'm sooo tired of staying up until 3 AM editing photoz, falling into bed exhausted, and then TRYING to wake up in the morning. Crying myself to sleep because I miss my baby boy, but am sooo ornery with my girls . . . and knowing that I'm sooo far behind and then have another photo shoot scheduled for the next day. I'm tired of having to tell my girls NOPE we can't do this and we can't do that because I have too many photoz to edit . . . I'm NOT quitting although I've thought about it. I'm just NOT going to schedule ANY MORE photoz for this year 2010!!! I'm booked until November and then I'm taking December through March OFF!!! I want to learn how to be a better photographer. I want to learn how to edit better and FASTER! I want to just enjoy taking photoz AGAIN because right now it's NOT fun for me anymore and I want my PASSION for it back!! :-) I'm ending this heart felt post with my signature shot . . . me and Matt DIPPING taken by my little Oaklee Rayn!! :-)

Like I said, I'm NOT quitting, just NOT taking on anymore photo shoots this year . . . I will be back from a break hopefully BETTER than I am now and with a new refreshed attitude. I took these photoz a month ago . . . I know I'm sorry, I'm such a slacker on my blog!!! I LOOOOVE this first one!!! THIS is what true/long lasting LOVE looks like!! :-)

The WHOLE family . . . this is THEEE most people I've EVER had in front of my camera. It's NOT my best work, but this is where this family wanted their photo! I HATE shooting under trees, but this place is where most of them grew up, so having the photo here at Grandma and Grandpa Paystrup's house was very special to them!!

I cannot wait to see Jordon's face when he sees his GORGEOUS bride!!! Jasmyne is sooo GORGEOUS in her dress!!! This first photo is MY favorite . . . just random and FUN!! :-)

GORGEOUS EYES!!! I've said it once and I will say it a MILLION times, the EYES are THEEEE most important part of a photo, but again, that's just MY opinion!! :-)
I've seen this little house used on other photographer's websites/blogs and took "Jazzy" here because she GREW up playing at this house. So this place has special meaning to her and the owner gave me permission to use this spot and was sooo excited to see Jasmyne's photoz taken there . . . thankz Holly for the memories!!! :-)

This is ME doing what I LOVE to do . . . taking photoz . . . my poor kidz and family are about sick of me though ;-)!! I take this "baby" of mine EVERYWHERE we go!!! But I did that BEFORE I started my business so they should be used to it right!?

I'm sooo excited that it's rodeo/horse show season for my nephews!! These are probably my most favorite photoz to take!!! :-)

My friend's darling daughter, Haylee!! We went to the Nephi Rose Garden one night to practice with our cameras and what a GREAT and FUN time we had!!!

I've been having computer issues also, so be patient with me, thankz!!!

I usually take my girlz to the free school lunch they serve at the park and well, you know I take my camera along, too :-)!!! Here's a couple of photoz I snapped of my neighbor's kidz. They're both sooo stinkin' cute! I'm ALWAYS practicing and trying to learn new things!!! I've been asked sooo much lately about photography and my best advice I can give is just get out there and PRACTICE!!!! There is NOT ONE DAY that goes by that I do NOT take at least ONE photo . . . it's usually 10 to 100 a day . . . seriously so when I say I LOOOOVE to take photoz, I'm NOT kidding ;-)!!! Here's little Sophia all dressed up in her Princess Costume!!

Tyler would NOT look at me, but I LOVE this anyways!!! :-)

Sweet Little Bentlie

What a little DOLL Bentlie is!!! I asked my second-cousin if I could practice on her newborn baby. Bentlie is only two weeks old and this is my VERY first newborn session . . . I LOVED taking these photoz and she was such a little angel :-)!!

These photoz were soooo much fun to take!!! This is one of my best friend's family and she KNEW what she wanted so it was sooo much fun and well a little easy to take these . . . AFTER I had my "DUH" moment with my camera!! They are HUGE John Deere tractor fans and these are going in her kitchen and other places in her NEW house!!! I LOVE ya Kamee, thankz for asking me to take these for ya!!! :-)
