November Thankfulness!

November is here and I am sooo THANKFUL for soooo many people and things!!! If you know me and know my heart, my first LOVE is my FAMILY (like most everyone else)!!! I am sooo blessed to have a wonderful husband and two little girls. I have an angel, my son Riley, watching over us from heaven and ANOTHER little GIRL on her way!! Yep, you read that right, we are having ANOTHER little GIRL, due the end of March 2012. We are super excited and super blessed!!! She is growing and doing sooo GREAT!!! I am faced with another trial in my life though . . . I MUST take it REALLY easy for now or I will be on bed rest. I am sooo THANKFUL that I have been saying NO to photography sessions ever since I learned I was pregnant. At first, it was just a MUCH NEEDED BREAK, but now it's a life or death (possibly) situation. I am sooo THANKFUL for ALL of you out there who love me and my work, but for right now I must REST!! Here's the photo I announced that I was having another baby on facebook with. YES, Oaklee is WAAAAY excited!!! :-)

Riley is our little boy in heaven and we are sooo blessed to be getting a little girl that HE is taking care of!! :-)LOVE these two little girls of mine!! They are sooo important!!! They don't have to be professional and you don't have to be dressed up!! Or at least that's what I think :-)!! LEARN the camera that you have and use it and start taking family photoz!!! You won't regret it!! You don't need a "fancy" camera. You just need your family and a self-timer!! And if you don't have one of these, then yes, hire someone, but take photoz!! And MOMS GET IN THE PHOTOZ WITH YOUR KIDS!!! I am soo THANKFUL for my sister, Marni. She's an AWESOME person and sister. She's blessed with a great husband and some pretty talented, cute kids!! :-)

Miss MaLayni Jane . . . oh how I love her and she keeps me entertained!!

Here's my little miracle girl. This is Oaklee Rayn, but we call her Mitzi. This is after her second surgery. Her first surgery was to remove a cancerous tumor when she was only 22 days old. This is her in July after having bladder surgery. I am sooo THANKFUL for this little girl and the power of prayer. She is doing AWESOME and I couldn't be more blessed!! :-)

And she's a DORK like me!!!! :-)

Yep, I am sooo blessed to have these two goof balls in my life!! I LOVE them more than I can ever say and am SOOO THANKFUL for them!! :-)

Miss MaLayni Jane or Dennis or Baby Jane. LOVE this little girl!!! Yep, she eats dirt, has a silly personality, and NOTHING is ever boring with her around!! :-)

I am also THANKFUL for cute little friends and for this time of year!!

Another thing I am THANKFUL for is scrapbooking!!! I'm a HUUUUGE scrapbooker. That's the main reason I take photoz and got into photography!! With my break, I was able to get ALL of my Project 365 pages done for the year 2010. I am sooo happy about that and here's the summary pages for each month . . .

And I am VERY THANKFUL that I met this gal a year ago!! She's turned out to be one of my very BEST friends!! I LOVE her to pieces and am sooo THANKFUL for your friendship in my life!! Love ya Ash!! :-)

This is Matt's goofy horse. He would do this A LOT for the camera!! I'm sooo glad I have this photo of him. Matt had to put him down because of Ring Bone. We will miss him, but sooo THANKFUL for photoz!!!

There ya go . . . a little bit of MY life and what I've been up to. I am truly THANKFUL for all that I have!! I LOVE my life, my family, and my trials. Yep, I've had quite a few, but who doesn't. I believe it's all in your attitude and it's taken me a LOOONG time to realize that!!! I always think, it could be sooo much worse!! I've got sooo many things going right with my life to be negative and stressed!! Happy Thanksgiving everyone and may the Lord continue to bless you and yours!! :-)

Keylee's Senior Photoz!

I just LOVE this gal!!! She's a great friend of mine and I just LOOOVE taking photoz of her!!! I started my business 2 1/2 years ago taking photoz of her ALL THE TIME!!! She's been waiting for this moment to have her Senior photoz taken and so have I :-)!! We had a GREAT time together taking these photoz and I still can't believe she's a SENIOR!! :-)

Keylee took this one of me!! Yes, I am a DORK!!! I was standing on a ledge to get the photo above of her!! Oh the things I do for this gal ;-)!!

What I've Been Up To . . .

Hey everyone!!! I thought I'd post a few photoz to let you all know I REALLY AM STILL ALIVE!!! I am just enjoying my BREAK from my business and having FUN with my family!! This first photo was taken by my AWESOME friend, Natalie Park. We traveled to St. George to have these done. I wanted something different and LOVE how they turned out!! :-)I have had a TON more time to spend with my family, especially with my Cowboy helping with the cows. This stupid cow, that's not even ours, got her head stuck in this barrel and Matt helped her get free! Too funny!! I was just sooo GLAD she didn't run into our truck!!

I took this random photo of my girls out one day checking the water to our cows. I LOVE it and LOVE them!! I LOVE it even more because it's just THEM!! NO fancy clothes, no fancy hair dos, just THEM!! :-)

This is Miss Oaklee. She helped me out on a photo shoot that I did in August and I HAD to snap a photo of her!! I still can't believe how OLD she is getting!!

My cousin came to visit with his fiance and new baby, so of course I snapped a photo of them for my scrapbook and for my Grandma's wall.

Ryan Kay asked me to take photoz at the Demolition Derby this year and I told him NO because I am on a break and just really didn't want the HUGE responsibility, but I snapped a few photoz of cars that I knew the driver . . . here's Tyson Ashworth. I took his wedding photoz, so I thought I'd take him being a Demolition car driver!!

And of course, I HAD to get some of Ryan!! :-)

Here's my good friend, Merity Blackett. I took her family photoz just TWO weeks before she passed away from having a seizure in her sleep. Such a SAD thing for her family!! My family is VERY close to Donna, so this photo means the world to me. I was actually "just getting my light" when I snapped this so it's NOT posed or anything, but it's one of the last photoz of Mer . . . Such a PRICELESS photo!! Miss Mer will be missed!!! I'm soo happy that Scott put his arms around his mom and sisters. He did NOOT want to do it, but he did, and they are sooo happy that he did!! Photoz are sooo precious and you just NEVER know when someone in those photoz will be taken from you . . .

Taylor at the ATV Rodeo . . . have I ever mentioned that I LOOOOOVE the Juab County Fair?? Well, I DO!!! :-)

And then it was the Ranch Rodeo. Oh how I LOVE the Ranch Rodeo and couldn't help myself . . . I took a lot of photoz at the rodeo!!

I LOVE to take actions shots and rodeo photoz are my FAVORITE!!! This is my nephew, Tate, running the poles. He's sooo AWESOME!! I just wish I was takin' photoz of my girls, but not sure that will EVER happen, so I take photoz of my nephews and my niece!!

This is Lady, we lost her in August. We also lost our other dog in February, so we're not doing too good with dogs around our house. We've had her for 11 years, so I guess it was time for her to go. We just were NOT ready for it! I'm just sooo happy I take photoz of our "other" family members!!

There ya go, what I've been up to!! I'm still taking a BREAK and NOT scheduling photo sessions right now!! I am having too much fun scrapbooking, spending time with my family, and just being on a BREAK!! Thanks for your continued support!! :-)
